I learned to hand sew at age six and at 11 years old journeyed to mastery of the machine straight stitch on a converted 100-year-old Singer from foot pedal to motorized. Now, I paint with thread onto fabric.

At age seven, my older sister taught me the basic 'knit purl' stitches. Over the years, I discovered that knitting was my safe space. I allowed myself to explore stitches and create my own patterns. I love blending colors and designing motifs that inspire joy.

 I am a self-taught artist with a deep passion for all kinds of art and history. From an early age, I involved myself in community artforms by joining youth-focused mural projects and learned to crochet by watching YouTube videos. My goal as an artist is to create one-of-a-kind pieces that reflect the beauty that colors offer the world, textures that invite touch, and works that excite the heart!
